This was finished back in December, as it was a Christmas present for my friend ~sssiiillleee. Unfortunately, forgetful as I am, I forgot to take a proper picture of the painting before I gave it away. Now, finally, I got the files from my friend, and hereby I have to thank her, because I couldn't have taken a better photo of it!

I started this painting in August 2010. Me and Sille have this tradition of making self-made Christmas presents for each other. She had asked me once in June or July if I would draw Darcy for her, so I decided I would do so.
So far this is the work I've spent most time on, and also it's the picture I'm most proud of. After watching that face for so many hours, I was a bit heartbroken to give it away. But she likes it, so I'm happy.

Tempera on canvas, 30x40 cm. I lost count of time, but I'm sure it took me well over 50 hours together.
